Strategic Plan 2021 – 2023

Working within a dynamic and changing environment, QCEC seeks to implement the following priorities and objectives in collaborative and reflective engagement with stakeholders.

Our very first school opened in 1845 with 56 students taught by Michael and Mary Bourke in an old government store.  Today there are 313 Catholic schools across Queensland providing education for more than 154,000 students.

At the heart of all our work is the education of young people, within our Catholic faith tradition, to be resilient individuals, respectful of all others, able to shape their own futures, build meaningful lives and contribute to their communities, wherever they might be in Queensland.
